The sixteenth meeting of the Arab Committee for Credit Information, organized by the Arab Monetary Fund, will be held in Abu Dhabi on September 20 and 21, 2023. This specialized committee operates under the auspices of the Board of Governors of Central Banks and Arab Monetary Institutions. Its members consist of credit information center managers and officials from central banks and Arab monetary institutions, along with managers of licensed national credit information companies.
During this meeting, several important and current topics will be addressed, considering international developments. These include discussions on the management of credit information within banks and its role in enhancing the efficiency of both public and private credit information systems. The meeting will also explore the legal framework for credit inquiries and the Central Bank's involvement in granting licenses and monitoring the activities of credit bureaus.
