The Arab Monetary Fund serves as secretariat of the Council. Hereafter are the main tasks it performs:
A - Data collection, and preparation of the studies and documentation required for the functioning of the Council.
B – Preparation and distribution of invitations to the Council’s meetings.
C – Preparing for the meetings of the “preparatory committee” and its agenda.
D - Preparation of the minutes of the Council and the “preparatory committee” meetings, and their transmission to the Arab Ministries of Finance.
E - Any other duties assigned by the Council and the “preparatory committee”.
