Roles and Responsibilities
Key Accountabilities
- Review, draft, and mark up commercial agreements, including NDAs, MSAs, DPAs, vendor agreements, and other standard commercial and financial contracts.
- Identify legal risks, propose fallback positions, and support contract negotiations where required.
- Support the development, maintenance, and standardization of contract templates and legal playbooks to improve efficiency and consistency across the organization.
- Provide day-to-day operational support to the Legal Department, including preparing legal opinions, maintaining legal records, coordinating document execution, and assisting with corporate documentation such as resolutions and internal approvals.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders including Sales, Product, People, Finance, and Compliance teams to address routine legal requests and facilitate timely contract execution.
- Assist with ad-hoc legal tasks and special projects, contributing to the enhancement of legal processes and supporting strategic initiatives.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Director of the Legal Department.
Job Qualifications and Requirements
Knowledge and Experience
- Minimum 5–6 years of relevant legal experience, preferably within international organizations, financial institutions, or reputable law firms.
- Strong experience in contract drafting, legal advisory, and regulatory compliance.
- Familiarity with financial, commercial, or international law is considered an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university (Master’s degree is an advantage).
- Professional legal certification or bar admission is preferred.
- Must be a registered lawyer.
