With reference to the decision of the Council of Arab Finance Ministers at its meeting held in Kuwait City, State of Kuwait on April 7, 2015 on the occasion of the joint annual meetings of Arab financial institutions, an annual meeting is held at the level of Arab Vice-Ministers of Finance in January of each year to enhance opportunities for exchange of experiences and expertise at the level of public finance policies in the Arab countries, and to discuss the working papers presented by the technical secretariat of the Council at the Arab Monetary Fund, the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank Group, and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development to make observations on them before presenting them to their Excellencies the Arab Finance Ministers at the annual meeting of the esteemed Council, which takes place in April of each year.
