Arab Regional Tax Forum:

Balancing Tax Policy, Administration and Competitiveness

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) Ministry of Finance, the UAE Federal Tax Authority, the Arab Monetary Fund (AMF), and the International Tax and Investment Center (ITIC) are organizing a high-level conference, titled, “Arab Regional Tax Forum: Balancing Tax Policy, Administration and Competitiveness”. The UAE Federal Tax Authority is hosting the Forum on 31 March – 1 April 2019 at the Grand Hyatt Dubai.

This event will create a platform for dialogue and exchange of expertise regarding tax policy, particularly which relates to diversification of revenues, the challenges of implementation, as well as administration and enforcement of new taxes. The program has been designed to facilitate knowledge transfer among experts and peer-to-peer sharing among senior officials from Arab Ministries of Finance and Economy, Tax Administrations, Investment Authorities and Central Banks. Additionally, well-respected academics will make presentations, along with industry representatives to share a taxpayer’s perspective and insights on how taxation impacts investment decision-making.

Important Notes:

  • All photos and documents should be scanned. Photos taken by mobile phones are not accepted.

  • For the UN Passport, it must be coupled with the national passport.

  • Passport should be valid for a minimum period of 6 months from the date of entry into the UAE
